USO - the axle counter device is designed for fixing the moment of a rolling stock wheel pair passing the counter, the direction of traveling and the number of wheel pairs passed.

Field of application

KSAU SS integrated automatic control system of a marshalling depot and other railway automatic systems, which use in their operating algorithm the data on the number of wheel pairs passed via a railway station, the moment of a rolling stock wheel pair passing the counter, the rolling stock direction of movement.

Technical characteristics

• supply voltage of USO unit (PS unit – signal conversion unit) is 220V;
• frequency of a single-phase AC power supply is 50Hz;
• voltage limits are from 180 to 240V;
• consumed power is no more than 15W;
• current consumption is no more than 0,10A;
• output signal has two levels:
  • a low signal state from 0 to 2V;
  • a high signal state from 22 to 30V;
• operating temperature range of PS is from minus 40 to +55°C;
• operating temperature range of the inductive sensor (ID-GPZU) is from minus 60 to +55°C.
