The technology of applying polymeric powder paints (coatings)

OAO “Izhevskiy Radiozavod” introduced an ecologically clean technology of painting various parts with polymeric powders at a newly established floor, which is equipped with up-to-date equipment.

Introduction of this technology allows:

• to enhance the quality and wear-resistance of a painted surface;
• to eliminate the use of an electroplated coating;
• to reduce the cost of painting;
• to reduce the influence on the natural environment.

Technology of water-and-alkaline treatment of photo-resists

Introduction of the water-and-alkaline treatment of photo-resists allowed to eliminate ecologically harmful chlorinated hydrocarbons, methyl chloroform, dichloromethane from the production process. The company implemented the Resolution of the Montreal Conference of 1986.

Introduction of this technology allows to:

• reduce materials costs;
• eliminate payments for the removal of stillage residues of chlorocarbon solvents of the 2-nd class of hazard.
• decrease MPC of hazardous substances in the air of the working area for the photo-resists treatment;
• improve the ecological situation in the sanitary protection zone of the company;
• eliminate payments for the air contamination with vapors of chlorocarbon solvents.

The technology of nickel extraction from spent solutions of the electroplating production shop

Introduction of the technology of nickel metal powder extraction from spent strong acid and alkaline solutions, used for chemical nickel plating, is yet another new development of the company and is protected by the RF patents No. 2166551 and No. 2166552.

Introduction of the technology allows to:

• extract and use nickel from spent nickel-containing solutions;
• reduce the reagents concentration for the effluents neutralization;
• reduce the nickel ion concentration from 30-40g/l to 50-100 mg/l in spent chemical nickel plating solutions, which are discharged into waste treatment facilities;
• reduce the volume of residuals, which are removed for ground disposal.

The technology of thickening the wastewater mud suspension after the neutralization of the electroplating shop wastes

The suspension of heavy metals hydroxides (sludge, slurry) is produced in the cause of processing plating wastes.

Filtering units are used for the slurry decantation.

Introduction of the technology allows to:

• increase the specific density of the slurry suspension twofold;
• increase the filtering unit productive capacity in relation to the dry residual matter by a factor of 1,5-2.

The technology of recuperating copper from spent solvents of the PCBs production shop

OAO “Izhevskiy Radiozavod” introduced in the PCBs production division the technology of recuperating copper from spent strong copper-containing solutions and offers its experience to companies, which have similar production operations.

Introduction of the technology allows to:

• extract and use no less than 90% of copper from spent copper-containing solutions;
• use alkali liquor, spent acid, rinse water as chemical agents;
• reduce the reagent concentration at effluent treatment facilities;
• reduce the volume of removed sludges for ground disposal.
