Process engineers of OAO “Izhevskiy Radiozavod” introduced into production the following unique technologies:

molten salt soldering for manufacture of massive parts made of aluminum ant its alloys;
vacuum-and-hydrogen soldering — for manufacture of big massive parts made of non/ferrous metals and their alloys;
magnesium welding — for manufacture of Mg parts;
heated folding of sheet Mg materials – for manufacture of molded/formed parts of Mg alloys.

Many years’ experience of the development and manufacture of all kinds of technological tooling and equipment, printed circuit boards, hybrid microwave micro assemblies, fine mechanics products, molding of plastics etc. allows to establish closed processes of large-scale production of goods, perform all types of testing for special products according to the requirements of design documents, normative-and-technical documentation, GOST B series (State standard) and other documents.

OAO “Izhevskiy Radiozavod” performs qualification testing of the developed radio electronic products at the IRZ Test, Analysis and Certification Centre (CZLTI), which is equipped with test equipment that enables reliability testing of the manufactured products under any environmental conditions.

The company is equipped with thermal chambers, vibration benches, shock tables, transport jogging simulation benches, centrifuges, pressure chambers, water-column pressure simulation device, thermal vacuum chambers, dust/rain chambers and etc, as well as equipment for performing electro-magnetic compatibility testing.

For certifying and integrated testing of antenna- and radio systems, while operating with emissions generated to the outer space, a specialized test site for tuning and testing SV communication antennas and radiolocation is used. A non-echo radio- shielded chamber is used for tuning and testing elements of antenna phased arrays.
